About Kenni Uribe, LCSW, CFRC (Owner/Practitioner)

First of all, what are all those letters after my name?  I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified First Responder Counselor (CFRC). I am also a Certified EMDR Therapist and EMDRIA Approved Consultant-in-Training. This means that in addition to having a Master’s Degree, I have had extensive training, experience, consultation, and additional education. It also means I have a Code of Ethics that guides my practice. I continue to receive ongoing education to better myself as a practitioner and I’m sure to keep up with various treatment modalities and research. This all allows me the ability to provide quality and evidence-based care for my clients.

Personally, I am a country girl living in a city world whose soul belongs in the mountains and rivers of Wyoming. I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Wyoming and spent a year in the Netherlands studying International studies.

After 20-plus years in the field working in healthcare, school, and community mental health/substance abuse settings, I ventured out and opened my private practice in 2021. I enjoy my work with adults, first responders, and the military – both active duty and veterans.

I am truly honored to work with and assist my clients in meeting their goals. I am also honored and thoroughly enjoy providing consultation and education to my fellow practitioners. I couldn’t ask for a better place to be or a job to have, and I am excited about the possibility of working with you!

    What others have to say....

“Kenni and I have worked together for several years in various settings. She has proven to be a skilled, professional, and caring therapist. I continue to utilize her as a solid referral and recommendation for clients seeking therapy.”

    Mireya Roe, MA, LPC

“Kenni’s approach with clients always demonstrates her respect and genuine caring for her clients. She is fully aware of her areas of competence and expertise as well as the ethics of our profession. Integrating the ethics of EMDRIA has been apparent in her treatment planning with clients as well as her implementation of the strategies.”

Valerie Everton, LPC, Certified EMDR Therapist and EMDR Approved Consultant

Kenni’s EMDR performance, while I was able to observe, was overall the best training experience I have ever had. It was both personally and professionally transformative. Kenni is a superb clinician who has an amazing ability to integrate theory and practice in a way that makes complicated concepts very understandable, especially combined with case consultation! Kenni is warm, caring, and inclusive, and she is very good at making her clients and fellow colleagues feel respected and empowered.
