First of all, what are all those letters after my name? I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified First Responder Counselor (CFRC). I am also a Certified EMDR Therapist and EMDRIA Approved Consultant-in-Training. This means that I have had extensive training, experience, consultation, and education after completing my master’s degree. It also means that I have a Code of Ethics that guides my practice. I continue to receive ongoing education to better myself as a practitioner and keep up with various treatment modalities and research. This all allows me the ability to provide quality and evidence-based care for my clients.
Personally, I am a country girl living in a city world whose soul belongs in the mountains and rivers of Wyoming. I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Wyoming and spent a year in the Netherlands studying International studies.
After 20-plus years in the field working in healthcare and school settings and community mental health/substance abuse, I ventured out and opened my own private practice in 2021. I enjoy my work with adults, first responders, and the military – both active duty and veterans.
I am truly honored to work with and assist my clients in meeting their goals. I am also honored, and thoroughly enjoy, providing consultation and education to my fellow practitioners. I couldn’t ask for a better place to be or a job to have and I am excited about the possibility of working with you!
