    Individual Counseling

Currently NOT seeing clients under the age of 18 years old.

Whether you are struggling with a problem in your life, feeling hopeless, or lost individual therapy could help you improve your everyday life and is helpful for so many people.

I offer comprehensive services for the following:

    • Women’s Issues – women may experience certain environmental, psychological, and biological challenges related to gender that have a significant impact on their mental health and well-being. Some common mental health issues experienced by women include depression, anxiety, postpartum depression, post-traumatic stress, mood-related challenges, low self-worth, and self-harming behaviors.
    • Men’s Issues – from a young age, men are taught rigid masculinity, that is to be strong and to keep their emotions in check. This often leads to many men feeling isolated, anxious, and depressed. Some common mental health issues plaguing men include substance abuse, economic factors low sense of worth or value, relationship issues, and challenges related to fatherhood.
    • Depression, Anxiety, and other mental health concerns – perhaps you don’t feel like your usual self, you find it difficult to control worry or you are experiencing a lot of stress and mood changes. Treatment for mental health concerns aims to help clients sort out environmental, biological, and circumstantial factors while offering support and care. Learning and enhancing various coping skills and identifying and challenging distorted thoughts can aid in reducing or eliminating symptoms.
    • Life Transitions – “The only thing constant is change.” ~ Heraclitus, Greek philosopher. Whether positive or negative, life is full of change. Life transitions can leave us feeling stressed, confused, and vulnerable. Some life changes and transitions include moving, getting married, having a child, empty nest syndrome, breakup/separation/divorce, retirement or other change in career, illness/disability, death of a loved one, and issues pertaining to aging.
