Consultation
For licensed clinicians seeking supportive, feedback-rich, and growth-oriented consultation on their journey through EMDR Certification, becoming an EMDR Consultant, through complex cases, and starting or enhancing their private practice,
You deserve to find joy & fulfillment in the work you do, and quality consultation can help you do that.
I believe…
I’m Kenni Uribe, LCSW.
EMDR Consultation
As an EMDR Certified Therapist and EMDRIA-Approved Consultant, I can provide consultation for hours toward EMDR basic training, EMDR certification, and general consultation for ongoing EMDR practice.
Consultation focuses on the mastery and integration of standard EMDR therapy in practice, providing guidance and feedback to consultees. Standard EMDR therapy means maintaining fidelity to EMDR therapy’s eight-phase, three-pronged approach (Shapiro, 2018).
I have completed several additional hours of advanced EMDR training in dissociation, polyvagal theory, EMDR and chronic pain, complex trauma, and first responders. I also offer extended and intensive EMDR treatment to my clients.
Rates:
Individuals: $85/1-hour
Group of 2-6 clinicians: $30/hour
Business and Clinical Consultation
As therapists, we never stop learning, and we never stop growing in our knowledge and skills. Regular consultation is highly recommended by both the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the American Counseling Association (ACA), regardless of the number of years of experience you may or may not have accumulated in the field. I provide clinical consultations for other professionals, along with targeted consultation services to assist you in successfully starting and developing your own private practice.
Rates:
$85 for one hour - or - $45 for 30 minutes
Consultation is not equivalent to clinical supervision. Consultation is also not equivalent to the provision of psychotherapy services, which poses an ethical issue of dual relationships.
Hours accrued toward EMDR Certification are not recommended to co-occur with supervision for licensure.

I expect consultees to be thoughtful and honest about their cases and their work as EMDR therapists, non-EMDR therapists, and business owners. I want you to be open to feedback, share your thoughts, and communicate freely. Additionally, please arrive on time for your appointments to make the most of our limited time together.

I see myself as a down-to-earth kind of gal. I believe all therapists should seek consultation, no matter their experience. Like you, I reach out for help when facing tough cases. I value our profession and enjoy improving the skills of quality therapists.
Good consultation is both informative and reflective, prompting us to consider our roles as therapists and individuals.
We'll define your consultation goals, whether you need a single session for clinical or business issues or multiple sessions for EMDR certification or to become an EMDRIA Approved consultant.
I will encourage creative thinking and help challenge any negative self-thoughts when you're feeling uncertain. If I lack the necessary information, I will find it and share it at our next meeting or via email. I will also suggest further educational resources and consultants who specialize in areas outside my expertise.
