Owner and Clinician
Kenni Uribe, LCSW
I believe it is never too late or too early to seek support and heal.
Hey, I’m Kenni.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a Certified EMDR Therapist, and an EMDRIA Approved Consultant. My credentials reflect my extensive training, experience, consultation, and education beyond my Master’s Degree. I adhere to a strict Code of Ethics and engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with various treatment modalities and research, ensuring that I offer quality and evidence-based care.
On a personal note, I am a country girl at heart, although I currently reside in the city of Arizona. My roots are deeply connected to the mountains and rivers of Wyoming, where I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Wyoming. My journey also took me to the Netherlands for a year of studying International Studies. I also spent a short stint in the Navy as an Aviation Ordnancemen.
With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, school, and community mental health/substance abuse settings, I launched my private practice in 2021. I am passionate about working with adults, first responders, and military personnel, both active duty and veterans. I find it incredibly rewarding to assist my clients in achieving their goals, and I also enjoy providing consultation and education to my fellow practitioners. I look forward to the possibility of working together and supporting you on your path to growth.
My approach
As your therapist, my primary goal is to work collaboratively with you to identify and achieve your treatment goals. I value a straightforward and grounded approach, ensuring that our interactions are both sincere and productive. My role is not to carry the burden of your journey but to provide the necessary guidance and support as you navigate through it.
In our sessions, we will focus on creating a safe space where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts and feelings. Together, we'll uncover your strengths and develop practical strategies to tackle the challenges you face. This empowerment allows you to take an active role in your personal growth, all while having a supportive partner beside you.
By fostering this collaborative environment, I aim to help you build the skills needed to address any obstacles in your path. Remember, this journey is yours, and I am here to assist you in making it a transformative experience.

Kenni’s EMDR performance, while I was able to observe, was overall the best training experience I have ever had. It was both personally and professionally transformative. Kenni is a superb clinician who has an amazing ability to integrate theory and practice in a way that makes complicated concepts very understandable, especially combined with case consultation! Kenni is warm, caring, and inclusive, and she is very good at making her clients and fellow colleagues feel respected and empowered.
